Dr. Alexandra Rutwind graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona at the top of her class. She continued her studies by pursuing a general practice residency at King’s County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Shortly after, she moved to BC and fell in love with Lower Lonsdale community. This is when Dr. Rutwind and Dr. Virani decided to open Peak Dental Arts, in order to serve the community they love. Dr. Rutwind has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in restorative and implant dentistry, focusing her attention mainly on removal of wisdom teeth and dental implant placement. Dr. Rutwind enjoys providing her patients with a calming experience, and loves to focus her attention on treating patients with dental anxiety.

In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her Goldendoodle Ace, and hanging out at the beach or enjoying the beautiful outdoors that B.C. has to offer.
